After completing an international physician fellowship at the University of Kansas, Dr. Patrick Kinda has returned to Lusaka, Zambia, where he serves as the Medical Director at his hospital. Despite his role and new expertise, Dr. Kinda’s hospital is struggling to operate at full capacity due to a critical shortage of medical equipment. Empty operating rooms are limiting the hospital’s ability to provide essential care.
Dr. Kinda has partnered with the International Orthopedic Trauma Collaborative to raise $35,000. The funds will cover the shipping costs of a container filled with vital orthopedic implants, operating room tables, C-Arms, and other life-saving medical equipment.
