After 8 hours past the injury, she made it to a nearby hospital, where she only received an IV drip for 3 days until being moved to AaBET hospital, at which point an infection began to develop at the wound site. As of our time meeting her, she has undergone 2 operations to decrease the infection, and is on medications to continue to abate the infection while AaBET prepares to perform another surgery and place an external fixator on her to begin the healing process. After her life returns to normal, she intends to continue her private business, help people at her local church, and if possible, travel to monasteries.
