Sagera, a 19 year old merchant and Arsenal fan from rural Ethiopia, after moving to Addis Ababa alone for work, was hit by a taxi, creating a compound fracture of his upper right shin. He was moved to AaBET Hospital not long after the accident, spending 8 nights in another hospital in the interim. Just after his transfer to AaBET, he underwent 4 operations and now has an external fixator holding his leg in place until it fully sets properly. After his recovery, he intends to go back to his home in rural Ethiopia, and to continue his education in order to become a physician, caring for those who have been hurt as he has.
